Testimonials from our Summerhill Residents
Don't just take it from us, let our Residents tell you about Summerhill!
Summerhill is a perfect fit for me. No more stairs is a definite plus. The units are spacious, and each has a screened-in deck. No more mosquitos for me? We have Happy Hour on Fridays and a resident dinner once a month. Underground parking is included as is all maintenance. No more waiting for weeks to get something fixed. The neighborhood is quiet, and the nature park at the end of the street is great for walking. The residents are so welcoming. I felt at home on my first day here.
My wife and I moved to Summerhill in October of 2012 just as her Alzheimer’s was beginning to rear its ugly head. We had lived in ten different places during our then 50 years of marriage, that included military service, graduate school and parish assignments. Summerhill proved to be an excellent choice as a well-managed facility and a supportive community. I look forward to being here for several more years.
I moved into Summerhill 12 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Summerhill is a small community of 44 units so it is easy to get to know all of your neighbors. We are in an established neighborhood, with not much traffic. We are surrounded by homes, a nature center and our well-kept grounds. There is underground parking – especially nice in the winter. A variety of social activities are offered; card and game sessions, a puzzle room, a resident monthly dinner, Tuesday morning coffee gatherings, as well as spontaneous get-togethers. Summerhill is close to drug stores, grocery stores and other retail outlets. It is a great place to live! Come join us!
